long weekend on the southern coast

Dinner on our own private balcony at the Riverboat Landing in WilmingtonSee the corner balcony on the right hand side of the building where no ones sitting? That was our table!Gorgeous sunset over the river and battleshipWe ate it last, but whateves... we ate it and it was damn good!Mayfaire Town Center, which is a shoppers heaven. Pottery Barn, VS, Julie's Boutique, Black House White Market, Michaels and so much more. Then Bry had to go to work in downtown Wilmington and we stayed in for the night. Cali wouldn't leave the window -- she was waiting for her Daddy to come back!

The next afternoon we headed off to Wrightsville Beach. Dogs are allowed on the beach, so Cali got to play!

Later that day we drove south 2 hours to Myrtle Beach. We're not the biggest fans and may never go back, but we did have an awesome night at the 2nd Ave pier's Pier View rooftop bar!
Once back out the hotel we took Cali on her last walk of the night around our hotel...
...when I saw this obnoxiousness through someones sliding glass door. Hello alchies, drink much?!!Myrtle BeachAfter a long and excruciatingly hot and humid hour at the beach, Cali was pooped. All she wanted was to sleep in her Sherpa...Gay Dolphin???Sleepy puppy on the drive home...
My view of the girls sweet sleeping face... Cali has now been to:
Dana Point, Laguna Beach, Huntington Beach and Newport Beach in California
Jacksonville Beach and Daytona Beach in Florida
Wrightsville Beach in North Carolina and Myrtle Beach in South Carolina
Girl friend gets around and loves every second of pouncing in the ocean as it's rolling in!
I though. I don't love bathing her after each beach day and picking sand pebbles out from her tiny paws.
But I love it when my girl is happy, and the ocean makes her one happy pup!

We really love our jobs and all of the memories they have given us together over the past 3 years, and this weekend was no different!
