afternoon at the local winery

We are blessed to have a quiant winery and vineyard just 17 miles from our apartment.

The property is beautiful and brings me to my happy place -- my calm and relaxed happy place.

The place where my eyes get so heavy that they just want to close.

The place where I can hardly move my arm to raise my glass to my mouth.
The place where I'm so content that I'm almost comatosed.

That is my happy place.

I only feel completely at peace when I'm out the country and all I can hear are the birds chirping and the wind blowing through the trees.

With my honey by my side is heaven. on. earth.

Did I mention wine?!

Love having this little slice of perfection right out our back door.

As for the private v public -- do what is best for you and your family. Being happy is so important and you don't need another's ignorant negativity!

  16. You truly are an inspiration, Kate! You're one of my favorite blogs to read (as you know). Have you thought about just making comments only visible after your approval? I know that makes extra work, but whoever this "meanie" (yes, I sound like I'm 10 years old) is, should not be able to take away from your powerful and wonderful blog.

P.S. Sorry for the comment overload. I hadn't caught up on your blog in a few days since I was on vacay.
