I have a birth mark. See it? Right wrist. Bam.. Red splatches all over. You know more "About Me" already :)
I was born in Pittsburgh, PA and moved to Orange County, CA when I was just about 5 years old. Growing up in southern California was the absolute best and attending Cal State Long Beach and living in Huntington Beach throughout college was the icing on the cake.
After college, I traveled around the country for work with my best friend for 3 years before settling back near my family and friends in San Diego. Not only did I have the time of my life in SD, but I met Bryan at that time also. After dating for only 6 months he and I dove back into my previous career, working in event marketing and traveling the country side by side - working special events, eating, sleeping, driving, running errands... doing eeeeeverything together - for 5 wonderful and carefree years.
We moved to Charlotte, NC in April 2010 and married the next month in St. Thomas, USVI. Although living in the south has been an adjustment, it's primarily been a great experience, mostly because we got our prized posession, Cali, here, and are starting a family soon. We've planted roots by building a home and our 1st child, Trace Jameson, was born June 26, 2013. Coming in April 2015 is baby boy #2!
Travel is my #1 passion and relaxing in the sun on a hot day is my heaven on earth. California will always be home, Easter is my favorite holiday and seasons can suck it! I prefer 80 degrees year round :) I value quality friendships over quantity of friends. I'm pretty much obsessed with my husband and make our marriage my main priority, which comes naturally considering how I genuinely like that stud! My son is a gift from God and I love his sweet little self more than I ever knew possible!
Bryan and I have always led an adventurous life and we don't plan on that stopping anytime soon... we've just had to slow it down a bit! I've traveled to 48 states and 15 countries.. most of which I've been to with my love. We are blessed beyond our wildest dreams and are having a blast navigating our way through our newest adventure -- parenthood -- together.
I hope you follow along as I transition this blog -- and my life -- from Every Mile A Memory to Set This Circus Down! Can you tell I love country music or what? ;)
