i snuck in a visit home to orange county last week

"Baaaaaack where I come from... I'm an old" Californian!

I went home for 3.5 days last week and since I was only home for a short time I packed my schedule pretty tight... and everything I did revolved around food I needed to eat while home.

This is where I call home. I grew up in this pool in my parents backyard! They've lived in this house since I was 5 years old.

I took a taxi straight from the airport to have lunch with my mom at Oak Creek Golf Club I went to Ed's senior prom with him back in the day. Side note: He went to the same high school as all of the RHOOC's kids and he graduated with Carsen Palmer, qb for the Bengals. Matt Leinhart also graduated from his high school.

Clearly I got myself some Coffee Bean! My parents lemon tree
After a fun afternoon of shopping, my parents and I went out for dinner and drinks
View of Main Beach from our table (notice our table umbrella... yep, great view!)
I hate being a tourist in my hometown. Hate. It. But for blogging purposes I took myself out of my comfort zone. You're wlecome! Dolphins migrating south
My parents eating...
The next day I headed to Huntington to meet up with Bryan's mom for lunch
On our way down the pier we stopped at Tracy's bench for Sharyn to leave a rose.My brother and his family were out of town during my visit so although I wasn't able to see them, I did get to love up on their dog, who my parents were watching. We snuggled every night. I thought he was cold, so I even tucked him in one night. He's such a cutie pie!

Heading off to the airport... What wasn't documented was my visit with my friend, Erin. She recently had her 2nd daughter so I stopped over to see her little Morgan!

I love where I'm from!
And for your viewing pleasure, check out the guy I filmed while in Huntington Beach...

  2. Looks like you had a fun time!

What a beautiful place to call home :)

  3. Gorgeous pictures! Thanks for thinking of us. :) Glad you enjoyed yourself.

  4. um. you were in my neighborhood and my bf is a graduate of harbor...i wonder if this is the same hs?

looks like a WONDERFUL time. next time you're in laguna try sapphire. very nice for brunch outdoors. breezy, great food and tasty cocktails, too.

  5. LOVE Las Brisas! My bubby and I were down there a few weeks ago for happy hour and the view. Perfection!

  6. Oh my gosh, so jealous of the pool! I was literally born in water and I've been a water lover my entire life. Oregon isn't swimming weather all the time so during school years my dad would take me to the community pool one night every single week so we could swim, and during the summer the only reason I wasn't in a kiddie pool or body of water was if I had to go to the bathroom or make food. I literally would take my lunch and eat it on a float, laying in the water!

  7. OK seriously I am jealous of your entire week!!! :)
I am sure you went to coffee bean a few times yes? LOL
That plate of onions/cheese/tomatoes/avocado whatever it is looks delicious!!!!
so cool that your folks have always lived in the same house...a house of memories :)
ok, and btw you momma looks like an actress if not, she looks so familiar. But i cant figure out how.

  8. God I wish I lived in aplave like that. So pretty, it seems like it would be impossible to ever be in a bad mood.

  9. And also - I hate the auto correct. *a place, not aplave. Ugh.

  10. I think he picked up his choreography from a 5 year old I know. She's pretty sassy, too.

  11. Glad you had a great time at home, even though it was short!

  12. So totally jealous of your pool! Absolutely love it =)

  13. I know I've told you this time and time again, but I serioulsy am amazed by how amazing your hair is, hahaa. Those soft curls...

  14. ummmm that video is hilarious! haha - have a good day girl :)

  15. you are sooooo cute! I loved these pics! I swear I remember that restaurant with the blue umbrellas from a past episode of Real Housewives. and you're parents home look amazing!! Invite me over to swim??

  16. Fun pictures once again. You stay on the move :) SO is the coffee bean better than starbucks? What do you get? Looks delish.
