We went home to Orange County for Christmas and closed out our year right where we began it, in California
I'm exhausted just looking back on our year.
Sometimes I can't believe the life we lead.
Other times I can.
Other than the fact that Bryan and I got married, this year is no different than years in the past.
We have always lived a fast-paced, adventurous life filled with much travel and little time at home.
I'm secretly hoping that 2011 brings us some stability, tranquility and boredom.
I think we're ready for our life to settle down a bit and to travel a little less.
By the looks of things though, 2011 will be much like 2010 and I will not complain about it!
Our job is really unique and gives us so much freedom in the present and is setting us up nicely for our future.
Every year, life just keeps getting better and better.
I'm always waiting for the ball to drop, but it never does... at least it hasn't yet.
We are oh-so blessed!
Cheers to 2010, you've been life-changing, memorable and just so much fun!

A Suprise Visit in San Diego

These girls suprised me and showed up to where Bryan and I were working.
I was SO happy to get some extra time with Molly and getting to see Jinna was just icing on the cake! Oh brother, I'm missing California already and I haven't even left... more than California, I'm missing the amazing people I have in my life who live here!
I know Bryan feels the same.
He played golf with his dad and friends the other morning and then went to a movie and lunch with his brother and friend from high school.
We know that moving to North Carolina was the right decision, but man... everytime we come back to California we miss it more and more.
But like I said, we miss the people in our lives who live here the most!

Oh San Diego, how I've missed you!

Bryan and I hopped on the 5 and escaped south for a couple of days.
We had to work in San Diego, but I was also able to squeeze in some time with 2 of my best girlfriends, Molly and Sara.
I miss these girls SO insanely much!
I am desperate to make, cultivate and have friendships like the ones I with with these girls in Charlotte.
But because I'm never there, I'm just finding it so hard.
My day will come, and I will have an always-there-for-you... I-can-laugh-at-everything.... I-can-just-be-myself... fun and easy friendship in North Carolina.
In the meantime, I'm more than grateful for the wonderful friends I have on the west coast and for the few news ones that I've made on the east coast!

For laughs, here are 2 picks of me with my girls back when I lived in San Diego, we were all single and going out every weekend!
