Randomness for the Day

I went to the gym for the 1st time in 5 months. Yep, I lasted a whole 10 minutes and burned 150 calories. It's a start, right?
***
When I was home for Christmas, my mom told me that whenever her mind wonders, she's usually daydreaming about new outifts and putting outfits together in her head. I found myself laying in bed last night, thinking about all of the cute outfits I can put together from my closet... I was seriously up for an extra hour because I couldn't turn my brain off from this riveting topic...
***
We finally have lamps on our ends tables! It only took me since April to find the perfect ones. My dad's going to be so happy when he visits this weekend!
***
I made the BEST chicken from Trader Joes last night. Love Mr. Joe so much! Have you heard of Charles Shaw wine, otherwise known as 2 buck Chuck in California? Well, he is my ex boyfriends Godfather. He went to Stanford with my ex's dad and they became great friends. And no, when the ex and I were together we didn't get any free wine - BOO!
***
Today Bryan and I are driving down to Lake Murray, in South Carolina, to pick up my best friend and her boyfriend from her parents house and bring them back to our place for an evening of Mexican Train game, vino, Greys and Private Practice!
***
Bryan and I seriously have the coolest jobs. We've been gone since mid August and are now home, NOT WORKING, for the next month or two. Cheers to filling our free time with lots of fun, friends, get-togethers and relaxation with our little family of 3 (3 being Cali)!
***
My dog thinks she's a cat. She sits on the back of our couch and looks out the window in the most intense of ways. She's been doing it for over 30 minutes now...
***
Cali has a best friend. Her name is Piper. My heart melts when I see them together because I know that my girl is SO happy!
***
I'm addicted to home decorating. Bryan thinks it's my calling. Really, he does. I bought more stuff to furnish our apartment and now it's kind of bursting at the seems with loveliness. I think I need to stop pronto. Addicted!
***
Christmas and winter decor is officially put away. I really thought I'd keep the winter stuff out for the season, but made a last minute decision to not be a slave to the holidays and to resurrect my everyday decor from the ashes.
***
I went to Starbucks with a friend for some much needed catching up time and she drank Passion Fruit Tea and I drank a Chai Tea Latte. Kinda weird that neither of us ordered coffee, no?
***
I miss my mom already and really want her to make a trip to the good 'ol south later this month. I don't think she's biting though...
***
We were in bed at 9:00pm last night. Woah, watch out... we're gettin' old!
***
I'm super excited for my day ahead and probably should go and put my face on now.
What to wear, what to wear...
Have a good day!
