nashville, tn: the perfect week

I don't know what to say about Nashville other than it's my first true love.

And that's a fact.

Bryan understands my undying love for everything this city and it's suburbs have to offer.

It was love at first sight many moons ago. I actually wanted to move there a couple years ago!

LP Field

Due to a crazy amount of rain, the walkway by the river had completely overflowed... Bryan is looking down on what is usually a wide walkway

Diana's Sweet Shoppe is definitely my go-to lunch spot on Broadway. This sandwich might just hold the title of "best sandwich of my life."

Back when we were thinking about moving to Nashville, I got all excited over the Dickens Christmas celebration held on the streets of Historic Franklin. This event only happens 1 weekend in December, and much to my delight, we were in town for this years event. Bryan and I agreed that it was one of the best Christmas events we've experienced and are already talking about going back in the years to come. Not to mention we picked up some really unique decor for our house!

Just when I thought this week in Nashville couldn't get any better, Renee, who lives in Nashville, drove back into town after being on tour for 10 months. I got 2 full days with my best friend and couldn't have been happier! We did couples things, got our nails done, went to lunch together and did a little shopping just the two of us -- I miss her so much and it was just perfect getting to spend this time together before Christmas!

Wine tasting at Arrington Vineyards

Dinner, drinks and sight seeing at the Gaylord Opryland Resort -- It was a true feast for your eyes!

I love that my best friend now lives in my favorite city -- it's a match made in heaven I tell ya. My heaven!
