galveston for the day

While in Houston we had one day off, so we drove to Galveston for the day. We know that Galveston is not a premier beach in Texas, but we didn't care. The ocean is the ocean, and boy did we want to go play in it!

The weather was a beautiful 80 degrees, so we sat on the upper patio of Fish Tales and enjoyed ourselves some stellar margaritas while watching the waves crash below.

On our way back to Houston we stopped off and bought ourselves a leather storage bench to put at the foot of our bed. Not only do we need a clean/organized place to store decorative pillows, but mostly Cali needs it to get on and off of our bed.

  3. I love Galveston too, it's just so good and refreshing to be near the water.

I judge how well Zoe is feeling by her ability to jump up on our bed. Some days I have to lift her in the car, but I I'm not sure what I'll do when she can't jump on the bed anymore :(

  6. haha my mom bought a bench to help my dog get in and out of her bed... he refused to use it... kind of how he refuses to sleep in his own bed : /

beach and margaritas sounds absolutely perfect... in fact any activity in weather about 50 degrees sounds nice
