moving day

Moving day was so past paced that it almost feels like a blur now...
***
The princess waiting paciently in our apartment for the movers to arrive
This little beauty stood out in the mounds of boxes and moving supplies
Smack in the middle of moving my girlfriend, Allyson, popped in to see how things were going. This is how Cali and I moved all day long... my back was so sore from toting her around, but it was better than her running away or getting lost somewhere! My dad flew in from California to help us move... with Irish Whiskey in hand, of course!Exhausted, but so happy, after a long day! There was no way I was about to cook dinner, so we hopped in the car and headed off to the Rudder. A water view, booze and fried pickles -- Just what the doctor ordered...Cheers to a job well done!Little miss was soooo sleepy after a day of no napping, so she snuggled up in the only place that was comforting to her -- my suitcase.
We all felt exactly how Cali looks -- exhausted.
What a beast moving is!
Man, I tell ya... I'm so happy that this isn't our starter house because seriously, I'm not moving again for another 20 years, if ever!

  1. I seriously adore that you wore Cali all day. Absolutely adorable, and something I would do.

I also love that your dad showed up with Irish whiskey. Perfect! ;)

  2. Yayyy for being moved in! I have a similar carrier for Dixie. She LOVES it! Haha! But my back also gets sore after carrying her for a long period of time.

  4. Can't believe you toted her around all day!!! What a life! LOL The past few times I've moved I've had Aspen go stay at a friends' or we moved her first, and shut her in a room. She doesn't always like that, but she is quite the escape artist when it comes to going in and out with doors!

Love the last picture of Cali just to cute for words!

  9. How frustrating is moving ... I always end up with broken nails, bruises, scrapes, and at least one broken picture frame, plate, or vase! I hope you are getting settled into the new house now and enjoying every minute.

PS - Cali in the baby carrier ... too cute for words.
