cotton pickin' in southern georgia

I spent last weekend in southern Georgia.
I flew into Atlanta and drove 4 hours south to the small town of Valdosta.
If you're not familiar with southern Georgia, this is really all you need to know...
It's cotton farmin' country!



Next time you wear a cotton shirt, think of America's Heartland and where that cotton came from!

  4. These pictures make me homesick. I grew up in GA and lived there until last year when we moved for my husband's job. I miss that beautiful cotton!

  8. AHHH! I am wanting cotton for my centerpieces, I wish I had known I would have paid for you to pick some for me! Cotton is so beautiful when it's in it's raw form.
