4th of July: happy birthday america

Our 4th was a noncommittal, spontaneous and relaxing one.
As we woke up yesterday morning we decided to head to the lake with Cali.
We packed up our 'lake supplies' and jetted off to our secret spot.
After several hours and a sun burn, we headed home to make a pitcher of margs.
I made it with an abundance of fresh strawberries and invited some friends over for a drink.
After they left, we cleaned ourselves up, BBQed a classically delicious meal, got ourselves some froyo, popped the bubbly and watched multiple fireworks shows from the lakes edge.
Bryan even put on his own $15.00 fireworks show in our backyard!
As we went to sleep last night, Bry thanked me.
I asked what for.
He said "for a great day."
