a traditional christmas eve

Our first Christmas Eve in North Carolina was pure perfection. It kicked off with 4 o'clock mass, which was followed by my favorite meal of the year -- the traditional Polish Christmas Eve dinner, Wigilia. For us Polish folk, the most important of all traditional festivities is Christmas Eve. Everyone on my mom's side of the family celebrates Wigilia and I've had it every year since I was born... definitely a must!

Love my tablescape!

Wigilia begins with the passing of Oplatka and the bitter (garlic in salt) and sweet (honey) in life from oldest to youngest

Relaxing and looking at our wedding album

I filled Cali's stocking that night and Cali was dying for her toys!
Merry Christmas from our little family to yours!
