beauty is in the eye of the beholder

Bryan and I purchased this vase as we drove through the Four Corners on our way home from my friends Telluride, CO wedding 2.5 years ago. We stopped at an Indian reservation that sold handmade trinkets. This vase caught my eye. It has an Indian feather painted on it and a turquoise stone set into it.

For me, beauty is a memory captured in a tangible way.

Oh my gosh! I would love something like that with my Native American roots. I'm dying to get out to the Dakotas and visit some of the tribal areas from where my grandma's history can be traced.
