where have i been, you ask

On the morning of Trace's 1st birthday my blog url expired.
It was horrible timing, yet a blessing in disguise.
I didn't think once about my blog all summer.
I immersed myself in my family, in summertime activities and in my work.
I wasn't living life behind a lens and it was a nice change.
But last week Bryan made a 10 minute phone call and before I knew it I had my blog back.
Who knew it could be that easy?!

I'll be spending these next few weeks catching up on things like:

Trace's birthday
family vacation
Trace's 1st steps
4th of July
swim lessons
friend time
lake days
Trace's 1st hair cut

I'll also include a post of all of the traveling I did this summer:

Kansas City
Ocean City, MD
Virginia Beach
Rochester, NY
Atlanta
Baltimore
New Jersey
West Palm Beach, FL
Pocanos, PA
Washington DC

And I can't forget one of the most important parts of my summer:

a life changing journey

All in all, I enjoyed my blogging break and summer away from the computer.
Trace is now 14.5 months old, running around like crazy and just the most chill little guy.
I'm SO happy to be back documenting our life and seriously can't wait to connect with you all again!
