I have no dental but if I faint and have to go to the hospital, I can without paying a dime. In Ontario, some things not covered by our health care is optometry, prescriptions, dental. Those are the biggies.
In a good job, there are often benefits at a low cost which cover everything you could need. I love not having to worry about going to the doctor or hospital on a whim. I wish citizens of the US would be more open to the idea!Samanthahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08655583369950879678noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4345794962290467822.post-59443083818959194562011-05-03T20:30:43.208-04:002011-05-03T20:30:43.208-04:00Yessss, love that you brought back the randomless!...Yessss, love that you brought back the randomless!

I just bought a new bathing suit... I don't understand what everyone is freaking out about in the states.
You still need benefits, which cover pescriptions and such as well as dental and eyecare. However, if I need to go to a doctor for an appointment its free, I need a physical, its free. I need to go the emergency room, its free. Xrays and bloodwork too, I think....not 100% sure but pretty sure. All that is covered by what we pay in taxes.

Some complain about the long wait times in hosptial, but it depends on the city and the hospital. They also take in order of importance, so if someone walks in who needs more urgent care they get it. If you can stand to wait, then you wait. However long it takes. But, its free and you do get the care you need. They don't leave you dieing in the waiting room, even if you are waiting a while sometimes. If its urgent, they get you in fast.

I have no complaints about our health system, I think its great and I wouldn't trade it for another.Jessica and Stephanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15378484838856902271noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4345794962290467822.post-44097526393799769932011-05-02T21:39:05.471-04:002011-05-02T21:39:05.471-04:00OK- sorry for the second post, BUT I completely fo...OK- sorry for the second post, BUT I completely forgot to add that I tagged you in my "10 things I love", check it out!Katiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05677524896746887123noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4345794962290467822.post-68801919622675341122011-05-02T20:22:19.021-04:002011-05-02T20:22:19.021-04:00All of I have to say is that a girl can never have...All of I have to say is that a girl can never have too many bathing suits right?!?!
